Moana Glass By Ryan Staub
Starting from zero, the art studio needed to attract guests and crowds at itʻs demonstrations, booking classes, and buying art from the studio. There were lots of activities to distract visitors from coming to blow glass so Moana Glass needed ways to breakthrough.
Our social media campaign had to blanket the island with the various options happening at the studio in Lahaina to gain visibility and keep people coming back.
Glass-blowing demonstrations, date-night lessons, and kid-focused social postings, along with beautiful pictures drove interest sky-high and made it highly successful that a gallery was set-up a Whalers Village.
1.Should you run your own social media profiles?
Ideally, the best person to run them is the one that is most passionate about the topic or brand and they know how to write, respond, and post well. The tools themselves do get complicated and it does take someone with a bit of experience to get the most out of the effort. In the end, you should take the profile that provides the most value for you.
2.What social media channels should you focus on? Should you be on all of them?
Be on the social channels that your target demographic is on, has enough users to be worthwhile and one you can continue to engage with. Spreading yourself too thin will result in poor engagement or reduced quality of your postings. You should work on the ones that make the most sense for the goals of your project. Sometimes it makes sense to be more active on a platform for a short period due to the natural social trends or content availability.
3.What Should A Business Post On Social Media?
Generally, a business should post things that may be interesting to their followers. Project updates, new items or products, great images or videos, customer reviews, team updates and anything that makes the business look active and successful. Stay away from anything that may trigger your audience in a negative way unless you have a good response system in place to deal with the comments.
